3／20當天下午參加了亞瑟頓辦的「認識波爾多花香」品酒會，原本並沒
有打算參加的，不過前一天晚上在亞瑟頓復北店內閒逛時不知怎的就萌
生了報名的念頭，加上奇摩家族中的朋友都已報名這場品酒會，也就在
自己也搞不清楚怎麼一回事的狀況下報名了。這場品酒會的目的顧名思
義要讓與會者試著辨認波爾多酒中的花香元素，主辦者並在事先準備了
紫蘿蘭的乾燥花，做為香氣的範本。
當天的喝的是兩間二級酒莊的酒，Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou與
Chateau Rauzan Segla，酒單如下：
1. Chateau Rauzan Segla 1983
2. Chateau Rauzan Segla 1999
3. Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 1985
4. Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 1994
這四隻酒都是頗有名氣的酒，個人猜想當天的目的較著重於比較與認識，
故未採用blind testing的方式。
第一隻酒的色澤呈現老酒的磚紅色，剛倒入杯中時香氣相當封閉，在舒
展的過程中散發出類似煙草與木材的氣味，過了約一小時左右花香逐漸
出現，在接下來的時間內並出現一些皮革的氣味。酒體中等，尾韻並有
一些細緻的單寧感覺，整體而言是相當端莊的一隻酒。
二號酒的色澤與一號相較偏紫紅色，開瓶後不久即散發出咖啡及煙燻的
氣味，並隨著時間過去逐漸出現一些甘草及梅子的味道，最後則又加入
了類似焦糖或是香草的香氣。酒體中等，現在喝已經不錯，但感覺上細
緻度與結構上並不如83年。
三號酒倒出來色澤是漂亮的紅寶石色，若光看顏色會覺得它比實際年齡
要年輕些。之前聽喝過的朋友說這隻酒得慢慢磨才能發揮，果然香氣在
開始時相當封閉，只有一些spicy的感覺，過了好一段時間花香才逐漸
出現，但並不是十分的明顯，感覺上只是鼻頭的一些hint，隨之而來的
是優雅的果類香氣，靜置時並有一些無花果的氣味。酒體較Ruzan Segla
為厚，但亦屬midium body類型，整體感覺相當均衡，餘韻帶一些奶油
的味道。這隻酒也是四隻酒中個人最喜歡的一隻酒，其開始雖有些沉悶
但大有後來居上之勢，相當不錯，只可惜此時酒杯也見底了。
四號酒的顏色幾乎與三號一模一樣，但稍微偏紫。在品酒會的前半其
香氣基調與三號非常類似，也同樣帶有由木桶所帶來的spicy感。放置
一陣後帶有類似菇類的氣味與奶油味，過了一小時多之後花香逐漸出現。
個人覺得三號與四號這兩隻酒在品酒會的前段部份表現十分接近，但過
了約兩個小時後雖然兩者的整體架構類似，但四號不論在均衡度、細緻
度或是餘韻方面均不如三號般協調。
關於這幾隻酒，Parker的評論是:
Chateau Rausan Segla 1983, Score:90
Fully mature, this seductively rich wine offers a knock-out
nose of spring flowers, black fruits, smoke, and roasted herbs.
Expansive and round with a velvety texture, real opulence, and
low acidity, this concentrated, deliciously layered and intense
wine reveals no hard edges. It represents the beginning of
Rauzan-Segla's rebound in quality.

Chateau Rausan Segla 1999, Score:88
The dark ruby/purple-colored 1999 Rauzan-Segla possesses medium
to full body, impressive structure, moderate tannin, and excellent
plum, black currant, and cherry fruit infused with camphor, earth,
and iron characteristics. It is a substantial effort for the vintage.
This is a 1999 that will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring, and
keep for 15+.
Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 1985, Score:92
For sheer elegance, charm, and finesse, the 1985 Ducru-Beaucaillou
has youthfulness that is unusual for a 1985. The generous flavors
are soft, but not flabby. The wine possesses outstanding concen
-tration yet is elegant and refreshing. This is a beautifully knit,
harmonious Ducru.

Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 1994, Score:90
Ducru-Beaucaillou's 1994 displays a dark purple color, a
textbook, cassis, mineral, licorice, and floral-scented nose,
medium body, outstanding extract and purity, moderate tannin,
and a persuasively rich, sweet, spicy finish. Everything is
well-integrated (including the tannin). This should prove to
be a classic St.-Julien. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2022.
