星期三是朋友們定期喝酒聚會的日子。不過，上兩個星期因為都不在
台南，因此無法參加聚會，因此這星期打算帶一隻酒過去與其他人小
酌一番，便坐火車前往高雄，到亞瑟頓高雄店買酒。原先打算喝布根
地酒，打算買Hubert Lignier的Morey St. Denis1999或是Hudelot Noellat
的Vosne Romanee Les Suchots 1998，但均已售完，在詢問過朋友意
見後，改挑這隻北隆河區的酒。
Guigal在Cote Rotie的產品是舉世聞名，除了已成為活招牌的LaLaLa閃亮
三姐妹外，最近又多了第四彈Chateau d'Ampuis。據酒廠主人的說法是，
買下Chateau d'Ampuis這個莊園是因為他的爹娘就是在此處定情。今天
買的這隻Brune et Blonde算是該酒莊在Cote Rotie區的入門級產品，依照
酒莊網站上的資料，它是由96%的Syrah與4%的Viognier所組成，並至少
在橡木桶中陳放36個月，葡萄樹的平均樹齡為35年。這隻酒在wine seacher
上查到最便宜的售價是US$ 38，亞瑟頓賣NT 1450是貴了些。1998年的
Cote Rotie Brune et Blonde評價還不錯，Parker給了它90分，而WS也給
了它93分以及"Cellar Selection"。
這隻酒在開瓶時立刻散發出香料、胡椒與黑莓果類的香氣，並帶點橡木
桶的氣味，光聞就讓人覺得這隻酒應該很好喝。酒體中等且單寧頗細緻
，但剛開始時尾韻帶些微微的苦味，靜置一陣子後則會散發出梅子的香
氣。過了一個多小時，尾韻的苦澀感消失，變得更為均衡，香氣部份除
了原先的香料及黑苺果的氣味外，尚出現了一些淡淡的奶油味，使整體
的香氣多了幾分飽滿圓潤。整體上這隻酒的表現相當不錯，結構頗為完
整，喝起來相當舒服，不過由於亞瑟頓的售價相較於國外售價略高了些
，因此在滿意度上得打個折扣。

and supple tannins. Seductive balance on the fresh finish, where
the firm tannins make a surprise appearance that suggests a bit
of cellar time is needed to bring out the best of this red. Best

Guigal's Cote Rotie Brune et Blonde (25,000 cases produced),
tends to have 4-5% Viognier included in the blend. The 1998
exhibits some of the vintage's hard tannin, as well as complex
aromatics of roasted olives, black currants, creamy oak, sweet
cherries, and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied and structured,
with a sweet attack, it will benefit from another two years of
cellaring, and last for 15 years
