Hank Williams Jr.

這首歌是美國鄉村歌手Hank Williams Jr.所寫，並收錄在他1980的專輯《Habits Old and New》中。Hank Williams Jr.是美國傳奇鄉村歌手Hank Williams的兒子 ( Hank Williams 最具知名的代表作應該就是那首《Your Cheating Heart》了 )，繼承乃父衣缽之後，Hank Williams Jr.的成績表現也甚亮眼，多次獲得葛萊美獎的提名。1989，以電子科技影音和父親隔空合唱《There's A Tear In My Bear》，倆人均獲得葛萊美最佳鄉村歌曲合聲獎。



2005，George Jones推出了他的第59張專輯《Hits I Missed…And One I Didn't》，其中多是過去由他自己或是別人翻唱而紅的暢銷曲，只有這首和Dolly Parton合唱的《The Blues Man》是新錄。此曲描述的是關於一位歌手的演唱生涯，George Jones雖有酒鬼形象，影音中也有遭警察取締及表演看板打出取消字樣，歌曲卻並非是在影射他。
