這首《Out of Time》是滾石樂隊 ( The Rolling Stones ) 的主唱Mick Jagger和主奏吉他手Keith Richards共同所作，收錄在1966發行的專輯《Aftermath》中，即所謂的英國版，歌曲長度近五分半鐘。之後為在美國發行，剪輯為約三分半的縮減版，另收錄在1967的專輯《Flowers》中。但這還沒完，1975又推出由Mick Jagger的獨唱版。雖然滾石樂隊共推出了三個版本，但卻敵不過英國歌手Chris Farlowe於1966所推出的版本 ( 由Mick Jagger製作 )，只有該版本奪得了英國排行榜的冠軍。
這首歌大意是說曾為男女朋友的女方離開後又想復合，但男方已不來電了。Mick Jagger詮釋歌曲有其獨特的風格，有些人認為這首《Out of Time》的成績評價被低估了，我亦有同感。這也是在滾石的歌曲中，我滿喜歡的一首。
