15. 月娘

月娘是愛媠的姑娘

共家己粧甲媠噹噹

 

月娘欣羨鬧熱驚孤單

定定招天星來佮伊作伴

 

月娘上驚孤單閣愛風騷

時常佮雲姐仔掩咯雞走相掠

 

月娘不止仔愛變猴弄變來變去

有時目眉有時芎蕉有時閣大碗公

 

月娘雖然有赫濟出頭但是嘛真驚歹勢

日頭想欲佮伊約會，毋過伊攏毋敢出面

月娘實在真趣味, 但是不時攏懸懸掛佇天頂面

隨在我頷頸伸長長，跤尾躡懸懸, 按怎都唚袂著伊

Moon

Moon longs to be beautiful

She always dresses up

 

Moon is afraid to be lonely

She needs stars to be with her

 

Moon likes to play games

She always plays hide-and-seek with the clouds

 

Moon plays with magic

She sometimes becomes an eyebrow, a banana or a big bowl

 

Moon is too shy to go on a date with Sun

When Sun wants to see her, she disappears 

 

Moon is very interesting but she always hangs too high in the sky

Even when I stretch my neck or stand on tiptoe, I can’t kiss her
