Why French wine are so famous II

Since 1936, the Appellations d’Origine Controllée (AOC) has grouped France’s highest quality wines and protected their regional uniqueness by having excellent natural conditions (soil, sunshine, sun strength and drainage, rainfall, temperature, and mineral requirements of the vine) and imposing strict production regulations (maximum yields allowed and authorized varieties, vine cultivation, and wine-making techniques).

Actually I don’t know the detail about the négociants’ marketing strategies. But one thing no doubt is that they always control the wine quantity. For sure, if the quantity is limited, the supply is lower than required and the price will go up. Further more, they invite some experts to attend their wine tasting and give grades. Some activities like this will going a topic for people who are interested in wine to discussion. Anyway, French people are good at using their advantages to tightly combine nature, grapes and wine making technique these three factors. It seems nobody could replace the important role of French wine producers in the world.
