Finally, I finished it.

I know I am pretty much behind the time when it comes to reading novels, but it's
better late than never. Isn't that what people always say ?

Well, let's forget what people say and see what's good about this novel. Basically,
it's a saddening story that goes to your heart through the narration of first person
perspective.

Slow and steady, Amir(the main character) states his growth to adulthood, his bond
with Hazara boy with whom he grew up , played and betrayed. 

Tormented and haunted, Amir went through various stages of Afghanistan, from peace
to war ,from monoarchy to Taliban, and finally fled to America just as the turmoil
he had been through mentally. But somethings is not right. There is still a scar,
a shadow, a guilt hiding in the deep. As the mythological monster in the lake,
beautiful as it may seem over the surface with breeze gently blowing the ripple,
diving into it will soon turn itself into an abyss of no return, consumed by the
monster. And that monster being.......

A sad story indeed, full of remorse and sorrow, courage and cowardice, sin and
redemption. Only the retrieval of a boy may bring back a shred of comfort, peace
and redemption.

"For you a thousand times over" connects both men's adulthoods and childhoods.
Running the kite, it's the time to the right and bright.
