Boney M（邦尼 M）是來自牙買加的合唱團體，開始卻是在歐洲闖天下，1976以一首《Daddy Cool》打響名號，1978更以《Rivers Of Babylon》勇奪全英國五週冠軍並風靡全歐洲。但之後進入美國市場的成績並不理想，僅以排行三十名收場。

看Boney M演唱的影音，外型很明顯由原來的純樸逐漸的走向華麗金光閃耀（不要看不起土人，只要有錢，他們也是很會打扮的）。而樂團中的那位男生，雖然跳起舞來像隻猴子，但多看幾次就覺得也還滿有特色的。  

《Rivers Of Babylon》是一首傳統民謠，節奏活潑輕快旋律流暢。由於它在英國流行音樂史上的賣座佳蹟，也有評論說它是首狄斯可黃金年代的經典亦不為過。

 

而Boney M的另一首歌曲《Bahama Mama》，曾被改編成國語歌《夢中的媽媽》，由甄妮演唱，應該較為大家所熟悉。
