Ardbeg 10yo 46% OB L7
C: light yellow w/ some green yellow at edge
21 N: vanilla, fresh grass, sea weed, heather, slightly peat sweet, followed by a little green apple peer, white pepper, end w/ clean fresh air at the sea shire
21 T: light body, but and matured in mouth. Some salty and grass, a little peat, w/ spicy white pepper. A little bitterness comes up at the end of tongue. But end w/ less variant
20 F: medium, beautiful and elegant nosing. Some sweetness of peat, grass, seaweed, but finish w/ a little liquorice, ginger. Dry and spicy left in mouth, whilst feeling some poor strength
20 B: balanced for nosing, but less complexity for tasting, not enough extension and feel not comfortable at the middle of tongue

PS.感覺酒體衰退較快? 終感口中也感覺明顯dry,甘草味及一點木臘的感覺.整體而言比L6差很多.

Ardbeg Very Young 58.3% OB Bot. in 1998
C: light yellow w/ some green yellow at edge
23 N: more spices, vanilla, pepper, apple peer, peach peer, pear, full of white fruit, fresh crème, very new spirit like. Followed by a little pine apple, fresh grass, sea weed, heather, peat sweet, very comfortable, end w/ a little earth
23 T: light body, smooth and round, so surprised as such a young Ardbeg. Spicy, ginger, fresh grass, a little dry. A little bitterness at the root of tongue. Some seaweed, end w/ sweet peat, full of oil, fat, very peaty, and some peanuts.
22 F: very long, white fruit, for nosing, green apple peer, vanilla, white flowers, more fragrance, some sweetness of peat whilst a little bitterness comes up from throat. Finished w/ a little cocoa at the end
22 B: good balanced both for nosing and tasting, more complexity w/ very good extension and strength

Ardbeg Still Young 56.2% OB Bot. in 1998
C: light yellow w/ some green yellow at edge
20 N: vanilla, fresh grass, seaweed, heather, less deep than 10yo. A little raw, rough. Peaty, white pepper, a little spicy
20 T: light body, raw and rough in mouth w / some dry, liquorices, spicy. Still w/ obviously fresh grass, a little salty, whit pepper
19 F: medium, less complexity for nosing. Finish w/ some liquorices, ginger, peaty. Dry and spicy
20 B: balanced. But less complexity both for nosing and tasting

Ardbeg Almost There 54.1% OB Bot. in 1998
C: light yellow
22 N: beautiful heather, a little seaweed, vanilla, fresh grass, peaty, some fragrance, white flowers, white pepper, end w/ some green apple and lemon peer
21 T: light body, fresh crème, vanilla, liquorices, ginger, a little spicy, some sweetness of peat
22 F: medium, end w/ some white fruit, white grapefruit, chardonny, green apple peer, seaweed. Finished w/ some sweetness, of peat. Pine apple, pear, more fruity in mouth, and alittle bitterness at the end of tongue
21 B: balanced both for nosing and tasting, more fragrance than 10yo
PS尾韻帶一些香氣, seaweed, white fruit,且持續變化,nice ending!

Ardbeg 10yo Renaissance 55.9% OB
C: light yellow
22 N: crème brulee, toffee, vanilla, tropical fruit, banana, followed by pine apple, green apple, pear, w/ some peat at the back. And the peat feels more deep and complex
23 T: light to medium body, smooth, still crème brulee, vanilla, toffee, some tobacco, smoky, and a little liquorices lime peer
23 F: very long, vanilla, toffee, banana, pine apple, end w/ fresh and beautiful peat. Slightly sweet and iodine
22 B: good balanced both for nosing and tasting. Uigeadail w/o old sherry version
