1.Ardbeg Rollercoaster 57.3% OB

C: yellow

22 N: rich but smooth peat, raw peanuts, dusty, ashy, polish, iodine, and then some apple peeling.

22 T: light -> medium, peat sweet, sea weed, vanilla, white sugar. A little liquorices, bitterness

22 F: medium, white chocolate w/ peat, lime, a little salty at the end

22 B: good balanced, better for tasting. Almost no hint of sherry, though one cask had been vatted.

PS.一開始就很直覺像年輕的漩渦,加水後則比較像文藝復興的感覺,好喝且易飲的一支年輕阿貝.

 

2.Ardbeg Committee Reserve 55.3% OB Bot. in 2002

C: yellow, straw

23 N: very beautiful baked wood, one of my favorite aromas, lime, peat w/ some lemon zest, apple pealing, young and active, a little fresh prune at the end

23 T: light -> medium, good impact, a little spicy, pepper, lots of lemon zest, peat sweet, wood cask, tea

23 F: long, a little salty, lemon peeling, vanilla, fresh cream, prune, finished in some iodine, classical young Ardbeg! Very good extension

23 B: very good balanced both for N & T, quite a wonderful young bottle, especially for fresh white fruits accompany with peat

PS. 有點像較年輕的1990日本版(55%), 令人懷念. 杯底帶一絲綠抹茶的味道, 讓人想一口接一口, 不可多得的一支好酒!
