A few days back, we bumped into this little kitten on our way home from the supermarket. Back some time ago, my husband and I had discussed about adopting another cat. I looked up SPCA and just didn't take any action on it. When we saw that kitten together, everything just seemed right. So we got the little bugger home.

Now she is purring, jumping, napping all over the place, not having a care in the world. What a drastic change of luck for her, from being a hungry homeless little kitten, to having a home with two human caregivers. If we didn't happen to walk by her that evening, she very likely still would be a poor homeless kitten.

That's just how it works isn't it. It's for you and I too. Most parts of our lives are just filled with daily routines, repetitive, forgettable and insignificant. And then, somehow, one day a single incident, a single decision takes place, and it changes the course of our lives forever. That's fate for you.
