speaking of the slogan ”i’m loving it”, the first image pops in mind is mcdonald’s. and speaking of the mcdonald’s, it sometimes equals to bathroom. in taiwan or in america, you can go use the bathroom without buying anything in fast food restaurant. but in france, it’s a whole different story.

yesterday, i went to the downtown of Lyon with delphine. while window shopping on the streets, she said she wanted to go to the bathroom. then we went into a mcdonald’s, she said we had to order something first otherwise we can’t use the bathroom.

what? i questioned on my mind.

we ordered a cheapest drink and walked up stiars to the second floor. i saw somthing strange then.

the door of bathroom is locked, and there was a combination lock beside the door. the one we can easily see on a safe.

the only way to get in the bathroom is to press the 4-number password on the receipt. that’s why we had to consume first! which means don’t even try to think of using a bathroom for free. wow! how stingy!

so i walked over the lock and press 2512, then the door magically opened!

delphine said every mcdonald’s in france is like this. i think i’d better learn how to order in franch now!
