在一九九七的文藝愛情片一日鍾情裡有不少膾炙人口的好歌，之前先介紹過someone like you，原聲帶收錄的版本不是原唱，可是我的確也比較喜歡翻唱的女聲版。然而今天不一樣，For the first time這首歌曲在原聲帶裡頭其實就是原唱Kenny Loggins的版本。令人驚艷的是在八零年代以捍衛戰士中一曲danger zone紅遍一時的他唱起抒情歌曲竟也絲絲入味，備受讚揚而傳唱一時。我也是很愛他唱的版本，原本想要改天找個時間介紹（通常改天都會拖上一年….）。怎料世事多變，最近聽到洛史都華翻唱的版本，雖然很不想承認，但仔細聽過兩次還是決定將洛史都華的擺前面…..（似乎真的略勝半籌….）
我國中對洛史都華這種沙啞到要破掉的嗓音沒啥好感，雖然看在名氣份上也買了張精選輯，平常卻很少有動力聽。但年過三十後，可能真的是滄桑作祟，倒覺得真的有股特別韻味，很適合一個人的夜晚….XD。所以人真的是會變的啊！Sailing也是被他唱紅，但我覺得原唱其實不輸他，只是各有千秋。但這首for thefirst time如今我卻真的較喜愛他演繹的版本，想想或許十年前的我會選原唱吧。
雖然看似首描述一見鍾情的歌曲，但仔細鑽研內容其實應該有隱含自己之前沒有發現對方的美好，直到真正認識她後才墜入情網。所以翻譯我刻意朝這方面解釋，但就不知原作者的想法為何了？（大家有比較好的翻譯想法嗎？）
