Central Park South
Sometimes when I’m not with you
I pretend I am,
And I walk through the park.
Do you know something…
It’s very dirty in the park.
I mean there are big old rubbish grinders
That roll down the paths
Stirring yesterday’s dust all over today
And the benches aren’t clean
And even the ducks look dirty.
But when I look
Across the lake
And see the rock
Where we sometimes sit,
The park looks bright once more.

有時當我沒跟你在一起
我假裝我倆在一起，
然後我走過公園。
你知道在公園裡有某些非常贓的東西….？
我的意思是有許多毫無價值的廢物
從小路上滾下來
今天到處充滿著昨天留下來的垃圾
樹枝昰不乾淨的，
甚至於人看起來也是非常髒。
但當我環視這個湖泊時
我看見一塊我們曾經坐過的岩石，
喔！這個公園曾一度是非常美麗的。
