[2006.8, TISJA III 心得之一]

TISJA III 的鐵琴手老師 Greg Carroll (2006, Director of Education, International Association for Jazz Education IAJE) 講義的第一頁, 鮪魚覺得好像講到要害, 特別是關於爵士樂手的 pain, 所需要的 patience & desire to become exceptional musician (注意, 不是只是 musician, 而是 exceptional musician), 一輩子也學不完的深度與廣度, 以及成長之後嚐得到的甜美成果. 所以阿爵士學習之路, 就是不斷的爭扎, 往前爬, 以及享受箇中的喜悅與痛苦~ 鮪魚習慣把 blog 上的主題冠上 ’簡易’ 兩字, 可是看來爵士學習這件事, 可真的沒有啥捷徑哩.

* Must have loads of patience. It takes time to be great. When you think you’re there, go for greater!!
