以巧鬬力者，始乎陽，常卒乎陰，泰至則多奇巧；以禮飲酒者，始乎治，常卒乎亂，泰至則多奇樂。凡事亦然。始乎諒，常卒乎鄙，其作始也簡，其將畢也必巨。

Man is inclined to go astray.  It seemed difficult to keep one’s innocent or decent intent all the way till the end of its course.  Reading the newspapers or watching the TV news, there were so many people going astray in the path of lives.  And there will still be more in the future.  I couldn't help asking why!

駢枝於五藏之情者，淫僻於仁義之行，而多方於聰明之用也。  ----- 莊子 駢拇

“To err is human.”  So, no matter how intelligent men become, men are destined to err.  Can this proverb be understood this way?  Men is destined to fail!  What a terrible idea!

To those who actually carried the same decent intent, the lives are not easy, either.  There are always people reminding you to grow up, don’t be naïve, …etc.  It just came to me another story in Zhuangzi; perhaps the innocence in men is just like “the Ruler of the Center” (中央之帝:渾沌), who died of other people's good will.

南海之帝為儵，北海之帝為忽，中央之帝為渾沌。儵與忽時相與遇於渾沌之地，渾沌待之甚善。儵與忽謀報渾沌之德，曰：「人皆有七竅，以視聽食息，此獨旡有，嘗試鑿之。」日鑿一竅，七日而渾沌死。
