親愛的各位

我忘記我上周四在幹嘛(好像是在讀少年PI)
I think I was reading Life of Pi and I forgot to write an article....
所以我居然忘記寫遊記!
我不是故意的(跪~)
SORRYYYY~~
那麼今天就來介紹一下除了美國和台灣之外的國家
I am going to write about somewhere outside of USA and Taiwan
第一印象是華人很多
the first impression of the city is that there are so many Asians!!!!
第二印象是天氣不很優(就像西雅圖)
and the weather is kinda.....like Seattle
今天主角是位於加拿大卑詩省(英屬哥倫比亞)的溫哥華
so, this article is about the places I've been in Vancouver, BC, Canada
兩年前第一次踏足加拿大就是去溫哥華
the very first place I went to Canada 2 yrs ago is Vancouver
可惜只停留溫哥華兩天兩夜
too bad I only spent 2 days over there
所以如果介紹的不如預期
so this article will not have tons of fun places

一直到抵達溫哥華之前
before I really get there
我對這個城市的憧憬就是英屬哥倫比亞大學(UBC)
all I know about this city is University of British Columbia
當然是因為這所學校很有名而且名聲很好
because of the good reputation
加上彭于晏也曾就讀於此(扯遠了XD)
and one of my favorite idol studied here before (lol)
所以我排了一整天的行程在這裡
so I spent one whole day there
從我堂哥住的地方搭公車到UBC超久
from where my cousin stay to UBC.... took like forever
中間還要換車
I had to take 2 buses to get there
但是一個人旅行的意義
but the meaning of traveling alone
好像就是用最平民的方式體驗一個地方
could be experience a place with the most common way
所以一路上也是覺得很新鮮
so it's still pretty fun to me
尤其看到很多中文招牌
and I saw lots of Chinese signs
有一那麼剎那我覺得我在亞洲城市
seems like I was in some city in Asia
到UBC之後我非常慶幸我排了一整天的時間
I am glad I had all day for UBC
因為這校園超大
cuz the campus is freaking huge
有一個很美的花園
includes a beautiful garden
還有類似森林小徑的後花園(?!)
and some forest like paths
以及舉世聞名的人類學博物館
also, the world famous Museum of Anthropology
可是我當時身上加幣太少，又不知道可不可以付美金，所以我沒有進去
but I only had a little Canadian dollar, and not sure if I can pay US dollar, so I didn't go in
完全是個錯誤
and that was a TOTAL MISTAKE
只好再安慰自己那是下一次再訪的最佳理由
I had to tell myself that, well....now you have a reason to visit again
觀光客票價要16.75
admission for adult is 16.75.....
學生也要14.5...
for student is 14.50 (WTF, that was expensive)
天阿這太貴了吧
UBC學生免費耶
especially when knowing that students from UBC can go in for FREE
果然又再度證實了國外的博物館都天價讓人卻步
another proof that fee for museums outside of Taiwan is terribly expensive
UBC的網站有給觀光客的校園地圖
the official website of UBC has map for visitors
但是仍然非常容易迷路
yet I still got lost
因為校園實在太大...
cuz it is wayyyyy big
去完書店之後立刻就是走到玫瑰園
after the bookstore, I walked to the rose garden
這個花園超美
this is like the most beautiful garden that I have ever seen
還有海景!!!
it comes with Ocean view
不愧是"英屬"哥倫比亞大學
now I can tell it's University of "British" Columbia
玫瑰園好有英式貴族花園的感覺
the garden is very British
UBC的官方網站很貼心
大概知道很多觀光客喜歡參觀名校
所以網頁都有各景點的連結喔
U can check UBC official website for the links of every attractions
聽我堂哥說
my cousin said that UBC basically owns the whole peninsula
所以他們有自己的海灘UBC原則上擁有整個半島
一定要去看一下阿
so there is a beach belongs to UBC...
well, then that's a must see to me.
途中經過了沒錢進去的人類學博物館
I passed the museum that I have no money to get in
這個博物館的後院有一種遺世獨立的感覺
but I walked to the backyard
好寧靜好喜歡~~
and it gives me an isolated feeling, so tranquil, I love it!
走著走著發現一條森林小徑
then there is a trail/path whatever u want to call it
要一路往下走個大概五到十分鐘
it takes about 5 to 10 mins
才會到海灘= =
to walk down to the beach
森林小徑感覺很潮濕
I felt humid there...
不是很喜歡那種感覺
don't like it !!!! feel like I will mold
可是我要去海灘!!
but I want to go to the beach
因此即使人煙稀少，我還是咬牙走下去了
so I took the path even though there is nobody at all....
(邊走邊覺得完了，等一下走回去會累死)
(and felt like it will kill me when I gotta walk back up)
不過海灘真的很不錯
but the beach is pretty nice
人不多
not crowded
沙灘也乾淨
and it's clean
而且好像是天體營!!!
but seems like you can get naked here...
(因為我拍完照一轉頭看見一個裸男從我旁邊走到海裡，嚇死我)
(cuz I saw a naked guy walked right next to me after I took a pic of myself)
當時只有智障型手機 所以畫素很差
真的很喜歡海邊的漂流木
I love those woods at beach
總是讓整體風景多了一種荒涼美感
it gives me a desolate beauty feeling
原則上UBC是個挺適合散步的地方
I think UBC is a nice place to take a walk
尤其是花園之後的森林
especially the woods in the back
感覺就跟台灣的森林遊樂區一樣阿!!
it's like some forest recreational areas in Taiwan
另一個行程也是去一個免費的景點:
another famous spot without fee
看得到獅門橋(絕命終結站5的場景)的史丹利公園
is Stanley Park, where you have the whole view of Lion Gate Bridge
(also the place showed in Final Destination 5)
因為溫哥華是大城
since Vancouver is a big city
所以大眾運輸也很方便
it's easy to take public transportation
我搭公車就到囉
I can get there just by bus
史丹利公園好像靠近經濟中心
it seems like Stanley Park is close to financial district
不少海岸高級大樓
lots of fancy buildings
(都有在出租公寓...好想住這)
(with condos for rent/lease)
史丹利公園是加拿大最大的市立公園
it's the biggest city park in Canada
公園有四百多公頃大
about 400 acres
(我沒有走完...太大了)
(that's why I didn't finish the whole park)
而且公園三面環水
and the park has 3 sides facing water
所以對愛水岸的我來說
簡直是散步的最佳所在
the best place for walk to me cuz I love water
公園的大部分是樹林
most part of the park is woods
因為維持良好
and people preserve this park pretty well
所以野生小動物不少
so u will see many animals
走著走著就會有這些小驚喜
they like to surprise you :P
我不知道這什麼魚.....
水質也很乾淨
the water is clean, too
還可以看到水母~
I even saw jellyfish
最令我驚奇的是水上加油站
but the most astonishing thing I saw was a gas station on water
太新潮了!!
wayyyyyy cooooolllll
溫哥華其實還有很多推薦景點
there are a lot more attractions in Vancouver I wanted to visit
例如格蘭佛島
EX: Granville Island
或煤氣鎮等等
or Gas Town
可是我真的沒有時間去
but I really didn't have time
所以有要去溫哥華的大家可以參考以下網站選景點 :)
