Ode to Age

I. At the Age of 21

When I was young
I never dreamt of 21
It seemed so far
I used to play around
Now I am at the age of 21
Now I am in a panic
I see the death walking toward me
In a slow and silent pace
I am crying for the days that I waste
I cannot sleep cannot sleep
All my future and past
Are now covered by cloud
And I have to go
Keep going on my way
At the age of 21
At the age of 21


II. Middle Age

In the middle of life I doubt
If I could go back again.
The mirror displays my sad face
From which I want to ecscape.
Totally I free my emotions,
But the world defines me as insane.
Violentlly I push myself
To a more radical state.
To prove I am not different,
I twist my incompentency
As a unruly young man.


III. At the Age of 91

I lay and wait and doubt
Why I am still alive
All my friends are gone
I take a look at my gun
I am too weak to pull the trigger
I I I, am I dead or alive?

The world leaves me behind
God shows his mercy to energetic minds
Why I am still alive
Suffer from memories so clear
I shed my tears for all the best time
I I I, may I quench the light?
