As my breath gentlly exhales
I hope it is spring
Watch the newborn flower beaming
You smiled and sang the lullaby
Then I fell asleep at ease

As my eyes slowly close
I hope it is winter
Watch the tender snow falling
You cried and broke the vow
Then joys dropped as snowflakes

As I lay deadly
In a winter or spring
Ivy clings blindly
Even though the season changes
