The Boy (Revised)

In the dark and lonely night
The boy started to recall and cry
For the past that he owned and hided

He began his journey in a poor family
Father left home early
Mother brought up kids on her own

20 years had been through
Boy had become a man
With dream in his pocket

First he got so many friends
But soon they all fell like rain
By the fight for no ones fault

Boy also met a girl
Treat her like a long-time friend
But the day when he fell in love
Friendship also fell apart

Boy met other girls
They just made him think of
The girl left him alone
Without saying goodbye

Boy cried and closed his eyes
Many many days went by
He found himself again
Swore to be a great guy

Now he stands straight again
Memories hurt but help him grow
Now he walks like a man
To future that unknown
