IAF Asia 2010 Seoul 年會的二手報導

這個星期一,我的日本引導者朋友們開了一個會。會議主旨是他們報告去韓國參加引導者年會的見聞。

我沒有去韓國,所以這個星期一我去聽日本引導者協會的朋友們的心得。

順便也算是做一次二手報導。

 

今年亞洲引導者年會

 

會議名是 The 13th IAF Asia Conference2010

主題是 Challenge, Change,Collaborate

主辦單位是 IAF(Internationla Association ofFacilitators) KFAKorean Facilitators Association)

地點韓國首爾的CJHumanville

參加者:共有152人(外國來的有50人左右)

參加國:共20

時間:

韓國引導者協會(KFA)主席 KR Yoon 是杜邦的大頭(HR Director, DuPont Asia Pacific)

他在年會一開始講了一些話,讓我的日本引導者朋友們覺得韓國人好有迫力啊。他主張引導者是新型態的領導方式,他們的目標是在2020年時,在韓國培育出十萬名引導者。

 

<以下是我在韓國KFA找到的資訊>

 

Message from the President (KR Yoon)

 

I have a dream.

I want to see many students in theelementary schools learn facilitation values, processes, and skills and leadmeetings with confidence, and grow up to be global leaders who can successfullyand confidently lead global conferences.

I want to see every participant in meetingsat corporations, government, society, and family satisfied by the achievementof the meeting as they produced expected results and enjoyed participating.

I want to see the National Assemblyreaching consensus through effective discussion, and all the conflicts in thesociety being resolved by facilitation so that there is no more waste ofvaluable resources in the society.

I want to see all the authoritative leadersreplaced by facilitative leaders, and that every organization has a culture ofparticipating and respecting each other.

Now, it is the time of the facilitators.

Korea became the top country of the ITindustry, and now it is the time for us to make Korea the top country offacilitation, so that we can truly achieve to be a leading country.

我看了KFA的主辦成員的抬頭,很多人都是CEO,不然就是教授。和日本引導協會或台灣的引導者論壇成員比起來,韓國屬性真的很不一樣。看起來韓國的引導和企業發展有比較緊密的關係。

 

而會場CJHumanville這個地方,是名為CJ集團的訓練場所。它地方很寬敞,而且牆上可以直接寫字(當然事後可以擦掉),也可以直接貼便利貼。我的日本朋友讚不絕口。他們又感嘆,日本有哪家企業這麼願意提供資源啊。

CJ Humanville opened in May 2003 for thedevelopment of the CJ group members. It was established to support the planningof management strategies and continuous learning for competency development byproviding high-tech facilities and an atmosphere of the Only One (CJ) spirit.

 

Besides the training and the learningactivities, small to large scale events such as management conferences,workshops, and task force activities are being held here.

CJ Humanville is the domestic first innercity training facility located in the center of the Seoul metropolitan citycompared to the others located in the outerskirts of the city.

 

The basis of establishing an ‘inner citytraining facility’ is to promote a culture of combining work and learning whereCJ members can freely experience learning even during work hours.

 

CJ Humanville is comprised of total 4buildings.

Innovation Center holds major CJ Groupevents, meetings, seminars, and workshops.

Leadership Center holds group levelleadership development programs as well as major management meetings.

Learning Center holds general competencytrainings.

Global Center holds foreign language orGlobal Pioneer programs.

 

The conference will be held at theLeadership Center and the Grand Hall..

 

The relatively low story buildings at CJHumanville are well harmonized with the surroundings as the Hanok (Koreantraditional houses) Village and the Namsan Mountain. CJ Humanville was named tobring the “village” concept of harmonizing with the surroundings.

 

 

 

日本朋友覺得有意思的二個地方

 

一是在用餐前,大家肚子很餓時,主辦單位要參加者看著眼前擺好的韓國餐點,用腦力激盪的方式整理出韓國(飲食)文化的要素。(秀娟的心得:可以用看實物的方法,激發出參加者更多的五官感受,和只依賴腦中模糊的記憶感受相比。這一招很好用。很適用於體會異文化時用)

那麼,我也來把它們一一寫出來

Engage/Support

Answer questions but do not do for them

Watch for debrief

Time checks clock

Stop only if real really bad

 

Step6: Debrief

Prepare ahead (ok to read)

Silence is OK

Watch body language

Repeat/ Summarize

Let group self-correct

Learn from DisasterS

 

 

 

帶過團體引導遊戲的人,對這六個步驟,應該會很有感覺。我自己則是看到最後一句「 Learn from DisasterS」,骸笑不已。「DisasterS」,簡直說到我心裡了。

 

 

另外,日本朋友們也談到CPF認證的事情,他們說CPF在日本,一點知名度都沒有。不過他們覺得這樣跟人家脫節太多。要想辦法跟世界連在一起。我笑他們還停留在Galápagos時期。不過他們也察覺得到這一點,所以要設法走出日本,和亞洲各地連結在一起。

 

 

 

2011年是由印度主辦

2012年是由中國主辦

2013年是由日本主辦
