Finally it’s 9-25~~

Instruction of UCSD started on 9-25, thurs. On this morning, I got up early at 7 since my first class, making of a modern world began at 9. Packing my bag with water, textbook, and blinder, I was ready and went downstairs to the shuttle station. On the way walking to the station, I felt warm from talking with family in macao. Though it’s foggy almost every morning in SD, I believed time flies, and I should make good use of these two years. Two years is not a long period, after instruction begins, 3 months passes by easily. I should concentrate on my study and don’t let the bad emotion inflect my way.

Arriving in the MMW classroom, I see there’s full of Americans. Unlike De Anza, UCSD is a big campus and Cantonese is a minority language, which is a good thing though. After a 50 mins’ section, I hanged out with two classmates, one girl from LA and another girl from Korea. Walking around in our college, we explored this new campus and shared some experience around this area. The second class was a lecture class for MMW, the prof. of the class is a black man and a white woman. Surrounded by mostly Americans, this is the first time I felt like an alien among them. After read through the syllabus, I realized that a true U life is in front of me. READING, READING and READING, there’s no more HEA class like we had in De Anza.

9-26 Friday
It’s the second school day of UCSD. Received an email saying my first section of COGN class is cancelled, which mean I don’t need to get up for the 8 am class. Getting up at the right time is always my weakness, if I can choose, I would rather not to get up early in the morning. After 1 hour, I get up at 8 30 and get ready for the lecture class on 10 am. Arrived in a big hall in price center, it’s the biggest classroom that I hv even attend. It’s a class named introduction to communication. This is my first major class in UCSD. Scared, afraid, curious…. I received the syllabus of the class, again….READING READING AND READING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From now on, no one can say that communication is a major for someone who is useless. We read a lot on different theory and get to know our society through scholars’ researches!!!!!
I am READY for being a good commu student!!!
