Pe1 1982/2009 58.7% C#2728 Element of Islay

C: amber

22 N: deep and beautiful sherry, hint of gun powder from begin, some wet mushroom, raisin, lots of chocolate, then some ham and marzipan

23 T: full, very dry, a little bitterness, good impact, lots of chocolate, some beautiful baked wood cask, more flavours come up, walnut, toffee, coffee, hint of mint, some cocoa in the middle of tongue

22 F: long, dry orange peels, a little gun powder, chocolate, tobacco, mushroom, herbal

22 B: good balanced, still active and variant, a big one, hope to getting better after quite some time

 

Pe2 1982/2010 59.5% C#2859 Element of Islay

C: amber, red brown

23 N: obviously some gun powder, sulphurs from begin, followed by some brown sugar, heavy sherry, smoky, baked wood cask, some dry longan, leather, then some baked coffee bean at the end

22 T: full, dry and deep sherry, some ham, dark chocolate, a little waxy, still sulphurs, leather, baked wood

23 F: long, good layers and complexes, acceptable sulphurs, dark chocolate, macchiato, leather, animals, complexes!

22 B: good balanced both for N & T, very beautiful heavy sherry, a wonderful bottle

 

Pe3 54.8% Element of Islay

C: yellow

20 N: some medicine powder, malty, straw, plastics, a little tad grass, some how short and less complexes

21 T: full, good impact, a little tad, dry and bitterness, lightly peaty, some salty, feel like a medium aged bottle

20 F: medium -> long, lemon, a little ash, cream, ginger, earth?

21 B: good balanced, better for nosing

 

Port Ellen 1982/2010 27yo 61.3% Butt#2347 B#237/570 W&M

C: yellow

22 N: clean, vanilla ice cream, some candy bar, fresh cream, honey, apple peels

23 T: full, very dry and smooth, strong impact, fresh cream, lemon zest, malty, peaty, sea weed, a little bitterness and tad at the end

22 F: long, very long, some lemon and apple peels, a little tad, creamy, peaty, salty and peppery at the end

22 B: good balanced both for N&T, very elegant, quite a lovely bottle, pls give me another shot!
