Ben Vevis 1996 56.9% BBR

C: light yellow

20 N: new spirit, fermented malts, some white fruits, pear, then some flower powder

21 T: light, dry and spicy, malty, tangerine, wood cask, oaky w/ some tannin

20 F: short, apple, tangerine peels, lemon zest w/ a little powder at the end

20 B: balanced, better for drinks, still active

Arran 1996/2007 46% BBR

C: light yellow

20 N: white flowers, new spirits, lemonade, some fresh young fruits, pear, banana, crème

22 T: light, fresh prune, lemon pie, Boston pie, some spices, cream, tangerine juice

21 F: medium, cream pie, lemonade, tangerine juice, hint of bitterness at the end

20 B: balanced, very good to drink, enjoyable!

Bowmore 1989/2008 53.6% BBR

C: yellow

21 N: smoky, lightly peat, some sea weed, oyster, beautiful soap w/ some flowers, spices, tangerine juice

23 T: medium, good strength & rich body, dry & spicy, peat, peat sweet w/ beautiful smoky wood, then some fresh fruits

22 F: medium, smoky pork, BBQ, good extension, some heather at the end

21 B: good balanced, still active and variant

Invergorden Single Grain 1971/2009 47% BBR

C: amber

23 N: beautiful and elegant sherry, grains, malts, coconuts, then some sandal wood cask, lightly brown sugar, followed by a little wax, polish, complexes

22 T: full, round and smooth, a little dry, oil, wood cask, sandal wood, leather w/ good tannins, orange peels

21 F: medium -> long, oaky, wood cask, more dry, some apricot, eucalyptus, wax

22 B: good balanced, better for nosing, impressive!

Glen Grant 1972/2009 51.8% BBR C#744/9

C: deep amber

23 N: deep and rich sherry, plum, orange, hint of mint, then dark chocolate, w/ some powder, wood cask

22 T: full, dry and spicy, orange, some peppers, grapefruit, some wood cask, oaky

23 F: long, oaky, wood cask, some plum, orange, riped fruits, it worths to take more time waiting

22 B: good balanced both for N & T, more rich fruits and plum, a good old bottle!

Ardbeg 1966/1999 42.8% 150Bts. Cadenhead’s Bond Reserve Bourbon Hogshead

C: yellow, straw

22 N: a little glyceride, banana oil from begin, lightly peat, baked cookies, old Ardbeg style alike, lemon zest, cream pie

22 T: full, a little dry, lemonade, marmalade, peaty, very oil, clove, cream pie

22 F: medium -> long, some glyceride, tangerine peels, almond, clove, a little liquorices at the end

22 B: good balanced, a lovely old Ardbeg, just drink!
