HC Diary II
Human
I remember that when Professor asked the question about what we were thankful in the moment, Cindy said that she was thankful to her parents for born in such a peaceful environment.
Naturally, I associated her answer with one of my most unforgettable news-articles in thinking. The new was sharing by Professor Udani, and it was talking about the life story of a Pakistani girl, Meena.
(with more information about Meena →http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8499578.stm)
Meena was born in a radical family, who keep forced her to be a suicide bomber even though she was only 13 year old. Because of the conflicts between different societies and religions, Meena’s life was full of wars and terrors. Because of the war, she lost all of her family. However, because of Meena became an orphan, she survived the gunship attack.
This true news mentioned to me that our life is really short and frail.
And what is the weight of our soul? It’s even smaller than the things we can do.
What we can do is to value the things we have. As another story of a blind boy that shared by Pro. Udani, people recognized that they were lucky because they weren’t blind. There were many truths that happened in frond of our eyes everyday, but it was useless if we were just reading without introspecting.
After rethought the situations we were in, we will be thankful for all the things, which created by God and given by our family, as the gifts of life to us.
Than, except by introspecting ourselves, we need to listen to others because we were not perfect enough. There are the advices that recorded from the sharing part of our HC class.
-Think of the best.
-No pain, no gain.
-Say hi to others.
-No complain to others, just complain to yourself.
-You want others to respect to you, you need to others first.
Start from thinking; continue in taking action actively, and you will get what you pay for.
That’s why they call us “Human” : )
