Dear Barb.
Tks your e-mail and glad to know you all like the X’mas gifts from Taiwan . Speak frankly to you I am a bit nervous with the wedding coming. Although I and John know each other via computer over one and half years, but we only together twice about 30 days. I know I did the decision too fast, but after I met Eileen, you , Ross and Isabel, gave me confidence to make sure John is a nice man and want to live with him. Especially when Eileen was going on the operation, you ,Ross and John so care with her that gave me very impressive
I have one brother one sister each has three kids, so I have 4 nephews (included one twin ) and 2 nieces, the eldest one graduated last year from university and youngest is the twin now are in high school. I know John love kids very much so do I , I am sure we both will love each other’s nephews and nieces .
Re the wedding in Taiwan we simplify it, just exchange the ring and have a wedding dinner that’s all, but our guests including relatives, friends will about 80 people that’s a small one here, but to John hope not scare him. There will be 12 dishes sea food and 2 dishes sweet. And we will share wedding cake to relatives, friends and neighbors after exchange the ring . ( I will order some before we leave Taiwan back Canada to share with you all ) When relatives, friends coming for wedding dinner usually they will bring an red envelope in side with money to the new couple for good luck instead of buying gifts. before the wedding we will spend one day to take a wedding album with 20 pictures with 6 design, I am sure John will be very interested in dress Japanese style cloth. if possible when you and mom help John pick the suit with deep color will be fine for takeing the wedding pictures.
That’s all for now, hope hear from you soon
Linda
