Nissan just launched its top-of-line SUV, QX56, in the northern American market, and will soon expand its market to other countries. Its predecessor, the QX4, will be officially discontinued and will be replaced with the FX and QX56.
The QX56 is evolved from the large-size SUV Pathfinder Armada. It targets high-ranking selling market. The QX56 has gained a great reputation for its size, extras and low emissions.

INFINITI經過法國RENAULT接受經營後,在北美地區迭創佳績。從G35、FX等在美國均獲得令人滿意的成績。為了與假想敵LEXUS抗衡,在今年北美車展上,INFINITI亦發表頂級SUV「QX56」。新車已在春季於北美地區銷售,至於過去被視為SUV主力的QX4,也宣告功成身退。
這款QX56是從NISSAN現行產品線中,一款Pathfinder Armada的大型SUV演進而來,所銷售的對象,是層峰級的企業菁英,不過外觀上更顯貴氣,包括直瀑水箱罩、氙氣頭燈等,都是QX56標準配備。採用全尺碼設計的車體,除了寬敞無虞的類商務艙空間和精緻包裝,動力單元是來自一具從5.2升闊缸的5.6升V8引擎,也是INFINITI繼Q45、M45及F45之後的第三款四輪驅動、第四款V8車種。
外觀上,QX56賦予魁武的豪氣,巨大的十八吋鋁圈和向外擴張的輪拱線條,給人一股肅然起敬的長者風範,端視外表,便讓人產生「非富即貴」的奢華聯想。以大型SUV市場訴求分析,這款QX56不論動力、尺碼和包裝都頗為成功。
至於車內就是產品重點,QX56氣派豪華的用料和格局,均比家族兄弟Pathfinder Armada高明,車內搭載了10支265瓦揚聲器和高傳真DVD視聽系統、三區域空調系統,以商務艙為打造基準INFINITI將所有高檔貨均列為標準配備,且寬闊座艙內第二排的Captain Chair真皮座椅,乘坐時倒有幾分君臨天下的錯覺。
這具沿用自Armada的八缸引擎,調升壓縮比至10:1後,最大馬力輸出增加到315hp/4,900rpm,扭力390lb-ft/3,600rpm。變速箱使用五速自排設定,原廠強調排氣量優勢,使其在2,500rpm以上即可搾出90﹪扭力。北美INFINITI特別安排一輛黑色QX56頂級款試駕,一般來說,這類5,600c.c.的SUV為重型設定,偏向乘坐性為主,筆者特別商請編輯部其他同仁加入試乘,提供意見。
QX56走豪華路線,偏軟的懸吊過濾大部分路面的碎震與雜音,座艙內寧靜感受令人印象深刻,後座的Captain Chair寬敞舒適,加上吸頂式DVD螢幕播放、空調控制,和可調椅背角度的皮椅,充分取悅第二排的重量級乘客。筆者乘坐駕駛座上,視野拜高車身之賜輕易掌握,但大車身後方有死角,幸好內建的後倒車雷達顯示裝置(Guidance lines on the backup camera),幫助駕駛者辨視後方狀況。
大腳一踩,車輛彈射而出,5.6升的推力不差,雖稱不上力道澎湃但推動碩大車體卻也輕鬆寫意,我們測出這頭巨獸零至60mph加速為7.8秒,成績令人滿意。操控方面,筆者本不抱太大期望,且為伺候第二排大爺油門勢必得小心掌握,不過在轉向和靈活度上,QX56以這種體態表現可圈可點,唯獨四驅除了加重噸位對這輛車的操控並沒太大幫助,因此全程筆者都調整至後驅模式,目的是不想因轉向不足而壞了印象。
相較起來,車上附設的巡航系統(Intelligent Cruise Control)令人印象深刻,透過方向盤的按鈕可自由加減速,且透過車頭的感應裝置,可自動偵測前車速度還能保持距離跟隨,寵壞駕駛者的設計讓人愛不釋手,尤其在長途跋涉時,這套系統可說是讓人體驗到何謂科技打造未來。這款QX56於北美的tennessee州生產線組裝,年產量預計約四十萬,售價約47400至50400美元。
After test drive:
The QX56 is evolved from Nissan’s Pathfinder Armada. Its spaciousness is a major advantage for a large-size SUV, compared to a large-size sedan. In addition to a comprehensive package of accessories, the QX56 offers plenty of space for passengers. The second-row seat, in particular, satisfies the needs for commercial use. It would be even better if it could provide more front legroom on the second row.
After French-based Renault took over management, the Infiniti has made a successful entry in the northern American market.In all respects, the QX56 is equally as satisfying as Infiniti’s LX470. The only concern would be buyer’s brand preference.
