往日時光
在朋友家裡，我和一群高中好友，還有她和她的高中同學們，那時代沒有卡拉OK，由朋友彈吉他伴奏，大家一起歡唱。
這首歌朋友沒有樂譜，大家也不熟，我自己一個人當眾清唱。
那正是少年不識愁滋味的時候，其實原唱的Mary Hopkin的年齡也是如此，但是歌詞中的句子吸引著我，雖然那陣子大夥兒常這樣聚會，有說有笑，但幾年以後、或十幾年以後呢？
人生無不散的筵席，曲終人散、物是人非是必然的事，日後再相見，是不是也會一起這樣感嘆：“Those were the days！”
因為年輕，所以敢夢，對未來充滿憧憬和期待。
時光荏苒，回首往昔，一切都和原來大家當年所幻想的不一樣。好友們天南地北，各分西東，時空距離遙遠，相見不易，正如杜甫的詩句：「人生不相見，動如參與商。」
什麼時候能有機會老友再聚，共嘆：“Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days！”
