Love is love

I used to be carefree till I was placed in such a dilemma.
Last night, I asked you the meaning of marriage.
Does this special ceremony really guarantee a life-long commitment?
If so, how come there are so many broken relationships?
You didn’t answer but just looked away in the distance.
Honey, when you popped up the question, what was in your mind?
Did you feel devotion? I did.
Like a delicate china placed in the center of our table,
I’ve tried hard to hide the crack, wondering how to mend this relationship?
What do you mean by “the right person”?
If you don’t love anymore, the right one will ironically become the wrong one.
Should I just smash this imperfect old china and replace it with a new one?
Or I should keep mending the crack till it doesn’t seem to show?
Life is so short. We should cherish what we have, shouldn’t we?
All I need to do is to numb myself till I feel no pain.
I will be strong. I know for you I will.
There is still a long way to go before apart.
Love is such thing that makes me bleed willingly and joyfully.
Love is love.
