just arrived in Taipei this morning.
i didnt go to sleep after i got home.
I made some phone calls to the states;used internet;and,took a shower.
called my friend who happens to be in TW for the winter break around 8am.took bus 74 and met her around TW U.It was so nice to see the familiar face frtom the states.
I wondered around on the street and found myself so disconnected.I am not interested in the things most young people here are interested in anymore.I am not used to the fashion of guys and girls in here.I am not used to the topics people are talking about or caring about.I am not used to the whole environment:culture,people,crowded,busy,....
When I was walking on the streets,I found myself look for some foreign faces.But,if you put me back to the states,I wouldn't be used to everything in the states,either.
I think I did a right choice by going back here.I probably need time. But,I dont want to lose the the me now.I need to find a balance bt the me and the person I have to be in TW.
I really don't want to lose the philosophy,the way I think,and the way I am right now.I spent so much time to develop it;it was not easy;I dont want anything to take it away.I hope I can meet cool people like the some of the people i met in the states.I hope I can have international friends.well,the most important thing right now is to find a job i really like.and,I will start from there.
