Believe it or not. It's been 10 years.
Ten years ago, singer/songwriter Michelle Branch released her debut single "Everywhere", an upbeat John Shanks-produced song from her debut album The Spirit Room. Its stalker-themed music video was directed by Liz Friedlander, who happened to have directed another stalkerish music video, namely Avril Lavigne's "Don't Tell Me".

Michelle Branch, and later Vanessa Carlton, were like the sweet representatives of America's "acoustic guitar girl" and "piano girl" back then.
