"Shape of My Heart" is a 1993 song by Sting from his album Ten Summoner's Tales. The song was not an instant hit when the album was released, only peaking at No. 57 on the official UK singles chart in 1993.
In 1994, the Luc Besson-directed film Léon became a blockbuster. "Shape of My Heart", which was used near the end of the movie, also came to life. Particularly, Léon marks the movie debut of the latest Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman, who portrayed the badassest 12-year-old girl in the movie. The brilliant performance of Portman gave her a head start in the movie career, and the rest is history.
Sting - Shape of My Heart (Spoiler Alert)
In 2003, British R&B artist Craig David joined forces with Sting in his song "Rise & Fall", which sampled "Shape of My Heart". The song received mixed review from critics, once even regarded as one of the worst collaboration songs ever.
