This following is Mark`s poor English speaking:
The most inconvience living here is that the computers are not good enough for a Taiwanese student. Now I am using a pc in the library centre of this city, but traditional Chinese can`t be shown on it. Even more, I can read the emails in my hotmail box, so I have to write mail in my yahoo box and send it to my hotmail, and then go to the internet cafe and send this mail from my hotmail to you. Very inconvient, right?
One interesting thing is that I can`t define days and nights depending on the experience we live in Taiwan. My Swiss roommate, Lucas invited me to watch cinema this afternoon, but do you know what the correct time is? The time we will go to cinema will be 08:00pm, and 08:00 is an afternoon time over here, isn`t cool? The day in summer is bright until 21:30, and it becomes an evening and then a night al last.
I haven`t studied English hard yet because there are some affairs waited me to be done, and I am a bit anxious for them. The most serious trouble is my accommodation in Sheffield. If I cannot handle it well soon, I will have no place to live during this summer. But I will overcome it in the next days.
All of you know that I like dogs and cats. Many dogs in UK are very different from those in Taiwan, they are thinner and taller with heavy hair. They can take a subway with their masters, and we all know this is not allowed in our country. I will take some photos to the dogs and cats in UK.
Although I have been staying here less than one week, but I miss the Taiwanese, Chinese and Japanese food very much. I need the Taiwanese instant noodles la.
I will write to you as possible as I can, and please miss me more.
