knee-high to a grasshopper
knee-high是形容詞，表「及膝的」，grasshopper則指「蚱蜢」，knee-high to a grasshopper字面意思是「膝長與蚱蜢相當」，引申指「在某人年紀很小時」或指某人的「小時候」。其他類似意思俚語還有knee-high to a mosquito（蚊子）、knee-high to a frog（青蛙）等。
