Jessica & Sammy’s trip

Our trip to New Zingland was interesting. First, our plane delayed for about four hours. Finally we arrived in Capital city at night, a local people named Dennis Lovegood has waited for a long time. He seem losing a little bit patience when we met him. He said that he was our guide, and then we got on his van to our hotel. There were some nice restaurants of international foods in the city, and opened 24 hours long, Dennis took us to one fancy restaurant for a bite. He said we will feel really hungry after the long fly. That was true. And the store closed at 9 or 10 pm, but we are too tired to go shopping. And we had lots of things to do.

Day1.After arriving in New Zingland, We walked to the Barren Desert first. On our way to the desert, we looked around the capitol city. While we walked around the city, we saw lots of tall buildings and great mansions, and lots of people shuttled on the streets. When we arrived at the edge of desert, we decided to rent a camel. To have a camel saved us lots of energy and time, so we enjoyed the desert view very much. At night we slept in an oasis, and saw lots of stars shining in the sky which we couldn’t when we were in the city.

Day2.The second day, we still rode a camel under the big sun. The weather was so hot that we all felt dizzy. We almost didn’t have enough of water! Luckily, we crossed the desert, and arrived in our hotel soon. After checked in Rawhide Ranch, we went into our room then took a bath to take a rest. Today was really a tiring and adventurous day for us.

Day3. After breakfast, we continued our trip. Today we rode horses instead of camels. On the way to D’icey Plateau, we took a rest nearby a river and went fishing. Those fish were a big feast for us, and we supplied our energy to keep on our trip. Soon, we arrived in D’icey Plateau, and checked in Knotty Pines Lodge. It was so quiet at night in the mountain, and Dennis made up a camp fire for us. We told some scary tales by turn. After all, Dennis was the champion of the affright. And it was about time for us to sleep.

Day4. Dennis got up first, and he found that the air of mountain was so fresh that he decided to wake us up to have some deep breathing. And we found that we were running out of foods, so we decided to go hunting in the mountain. We saw lots of wild animals around, but some of them were full of dangerous. We needed to be very careful; otherwise we will aggravate them, then we will have no foods. It was an exciting experience for us. Especially for Jessica, she hasn’t gone hunting before, so Dennis taught her how to use the gun. We didn’t want her to kill herself. After several practices, she was ready to shoot some animals. And today, we really had a plentiful harvest.

Day5.The next morning, we rented a car from Knotty Pines Lodge, and drove to Slip Off Mountains. The mountains were covered of lots of snow, and it was enough for us to go skiing. Even though the temperature was extremely low, we still had lots of fun. We also had a snowball fight, and made a super big snowman. After a substantial day, we all felt tired so we decided to stay in a near hotel, called Cushy Castle.

Day6. Everybody were about to sleep, there was a call from the mines and print us a guided tour of the operations. I was surprised that we were going to visit them on day7. Well, this reminded me that we were coming for businesses, not for play. I guessed that I had to talk to Dennis.

Day7. When we woke up this morning, we rent a ferry and drove our SUV on it, going to the Copper Mines. After our works in Copper Mines, Dennis asked us if we want to go to the Gonner Swamp. Sammy wanted to know what we can see in the swamp, and Dennis said that we could see some crocodiles in the swamp, but worst of all, there were more mosquitoes there. We thought that this couldn’t be relaxing, so we decided not to go there.

Day8. Drove to Drearytown. And it started to rain cats and dogs. We couldn’t go any where but hotel. The rains kept dropping down and blindfold the vision of the window. Dennis suggested us not to go out. “The big rain will let you get cold,” he said. So we decided to finish our job in the hotel. And Dennis went to the hotel’s bar to get some drink for us. Wasn’t he a consider person?

Day9. We dropped off the SUV at a local Rent-A-Car place and took the train to Capital City. It was still raining when we were going to the train station. I chose a seat next to window. The scenery outside the window was beautiful. We all enjoyed the trip on the train, this is the most relaxing part in our trip, except the nights in those hotels.

Day10. We went shopping in the Capitol City. Both Sammy and I thanked Dennis Lovegood and everyone else in our trip, without them, we couldn’t have such a wonderful trip this time. This trip was really unforgettable; I think I will return someday.
