Christmas Eve 2004, in the night,
I was stuck at the riverside
On the day I have just become 29,
Worrying my delay for the gathering tonight.
Jumping on the bus while no cab’s around,
Peace and fun started with unexpected journey,
Had no winter wardrobe to cover all around
My heart still lighted up with this wacky beginning.
Looking at people wearing smiley faces,
Everyone wished to receive blessings from Santa Claus;
Accompanying with the top view of Taipei City,
Wondering if I could see him right across.
The most freaky and sarcastic eve
Brought me a brand new view to see the world;
Things always come with no grief
Embracing all is a key to break the swirl.
Feeling grateful for everything I posses:
Love from friends, family, and myself.
Once again my mind was filled with amaze
In this windy, damp yet surprising Christmas!
