我很喜歡收到你的來信,我希望妳能儘可能地常常寫信給我…….我也將常寫信給妳。
目前我忙錄於三個工作,故我無法像我所期待常常寫信給你。很快地我將會停止我的工作,不久我將會回到學校。當我回到學校時,我將試著每兩週寫信給妳。我期待妳能常常寫信給我,甚至於妳短暫間無法收到我的信。……….
昨天我告訴我一個朋友關於妳的事,我有多喜愛妳,甚至於我從沒有見過妳……….。

Dear Hsing-Yi,

Thank you for your letter. I really liked getting your letter. In fact, I always like getting mail from you. I wish you would write to me more often, if you could. I know it is not always possible to write letters as often as you would like to, but I would like to get more letters from you. I know you would probably like to get more letters from me, so I am going to try to write to you more often. I have not been able to write to you as often as I would have liked to because I have been keeping busy working at my three jobs. I will be quitting my jobs soon because I will have to go back to school before long. When I am back at school I will try to write to you every two weeks. I hope you will try to write to me as often, even if you do not get a letter from me for awhile.

I have a picture of me that I would like you to have. I do not think it is a very good one, but then, most people who see their own picture do not think it is a good likeness of themselves. I have a school picture of myself, which I think is a good one. I will send it to you also.

I have told many people about you. But a lot of them do not believe that you actually do exist or that you are getting the money I send you. Please send me some proof that you do exist and that you are the person I am supporting. Also tell me how you use the money I send you, or how it is used for your behalf. I am really worried that you are not getting all the money I am sending you.

Yesterday I was telling a friend about you and how much I love you, even though I have never met you. we got to talking about the program through which I am sponsoring you. He asked me if I knew if any other person was sponsoring you at the same time as I am. I got to thinking about all the friends you must have from school and home, are any of your friends being sponsored?

I want to know more about your school. Is it a mission? I mean, do they let you stay the night at your school? Do they feed you? How many children? Do they have at your school? How old will you be when you get out of school forever?

I hope you like the picture of me. Am I any thing like you pictured me to look like?
