上周日一個人靜靜地來到恆春的砂島，蔚藍的天空、碧綠的海水、潔白的貝殻沙和盡情嬉戲弄潮的人們，空氣中洋溢著此起彼落的笑聲和歡樂的氣氛。午后熱情的陽光照射在我的臉上，唯獨我獨坐在礁石上，遠望著天海相連的天際線，時而望向彼岸的貓鼻頭，頗有「眾人皆醉我獨醒」之感。突然間，心中浮現了幾行英文句子，我立刻拾起紙筆將這樣的感觸記錄下來。
Solitary
He is a solitary man with ordinary living.
He leads a plain and tranquil life by himself.
Although he is alone, he doesn’t feel lonely.
He enjoys himself, but is merely sentimental sometimes.
Rather than living in a luxury mansion, he cabins in a humble but cozy chamber.
He is said to be morose and melancholy, but he is what he is.
For him, reading is the starter, writing the main dish, and alcohol the relish.
All of these are delicacies.
He travels alone, and shares his feelings with no one but his notebook.
He marks down what he sees, and tightly locks them up in his memory.
Perhaps nobody knows him, and even he himself is a nobody.
It is no concern of his since he knows what he really wants.
Ordinary guy as he is, he has intricate thought instead of mediocre thinking.
What he really cares is one’s intrinsic worth.
What is there in his inner mind?
There is nothing but extraordinary morale definitely.
孤單旅人
他是一個孤單的人，有著平凡的生活
他獨自過著簡單且寧靜的生活
雖然他孤單，卻不寂寞
他很快活，只是有時多愁善感
他委身於簡陋但溫馨的陋室，而非豪宅
雖然有人說他孤僻、鬱鬱寡歡，但他仍做自己
對他而言，讀書是前菜，寫作是主食，酒是佐料
而這些都是珍饈
他獨自旅行，除了他的筆記本外，沒人分享他的感受
他記錄他的所見所聞，並牢牢地鎖在他的記憶中
也許沒有人認識他，甚至他根本就是一個無名小卒
那並不是他所關心的，因為他知道自己真正要的是什麼
像他這樣平凡的人，卻有著錯綜複雜的思緒，而非凡夫俗子之見
而他所在意的是一個人的本質
在他內心存在著什麼？
當然只有不凡的壯志豪情
台灣南極小學？
台灣不在南極，為何有南極小學呢？
其實這是「墾丁國小鵝鑾分校」，是台灣最南端的小學，所以又稱「台灣南極小學」。
學校就在砂島對面，小小的校園，雖然迷你，但「五臟俱全」。下次有機會來到墾丁，可以到這個台灣最南端的小學校參觀喔！
