楊紫瓊拿下金球獎女主角，致詞內容有趣又引人深思、甚至還帶有點「危險」（威脅要揍人？），或許就跟她本人一樣，很值得拿來分析一下。
從語言的角度來看，其實沒有太深奧的單字，但是要表達的概念卻相當不簡單：
光是「fight」要怎麼翻譯就很值得討論。你可以想像一個「亞洲」「年長」「女性」在好萊塢發展所面臨的處境，光是「奮鬥」可能還不足以形容，可能真的是要「戰鬥」等級了；
另外一個我覺得很妙的句子（全場也哄堂大笑）是「It was a dream come true … until I got here」
光聽前半部以為她要感性（且老套）的說來好萊塢是美夢成真⋯直到後面冒出「until I got here(直到我來到這邊才發現並沒有）」真的是名副其實的話鋒一轉，也順勢帶出後面所面臨的困難。
最後，就是廣被媒體引述的「I can beat you up」不可否認影后嗆聲真的是一大報導亮點。但我覺得以講話當時的語氣、表情、還有她其實原本也是武打演員出身的背景，我覺得can我會用「會，能夠」去理解，表示「我可是會功夫、有這個能力跟本領的」，而非直白的翻成：我「可以」打趴你。
