It is said that goal setting is absolutely critical to success in life.
While I am cristal clear of the things I want to have achieved in the long term, it is time to set some short term goals for 2010. More like a late new year's resolution, except they will be accomplished by year end.

Let's start with the imminent things:

1. An apartment in the desired location, with good proximity to transport, well maintenance, and comes with a moderate price tag. By end of March.
2. Excel at Excel! Lol, be great at creating valuation models using Excel by April.
3. Be the best rookie managment consultant and play critical roles in at least two projects by June.

And those that require more persistence and some luck:

4. One robust property in Bendigo. (Sept)
5. Property back at home can be bought and sold for a 100% markup with no hiccups in the process. (Dec)
6. Build portfolio to 180. (Nov)
7. Establish 'Investor's Guild'.

Things I'll reward myself with - the wishlist:

1.A pair of Rocco's hand made ankle boots - I've been drooling over them for some time now. (If up til April goals are achieved)
2.Take cousin to Tokyo at the end of the year. (if 4&6 are accomplished this year)

 

2010 is already a busy start, let's hope the momentum keeps building, let it be a fruitful year, and let I enjoy every bit of it.
