nationalistic mind...how many of you do u have?
Of coz i am not a 左 派 , i don't speak on behave of Chinese government. i still don't understand why there are still people don't regard themselves as a Chinese status or dislike Chinese. Here i can hear "hongkongnese", what a strange word.Hong Kong is not a country, seems many people forgot. It is just a city belongs to China, although with a special administrative policy. No matter what, pls have a look at the mirror, which part of your body doesn't not show u r a yellow-skin person?
Of coz i know some thoughts and acts of Chinese are different from hongkongnese, i can just say it is different, not strange, not stupid. We are living in different places with different culture backgrounds. We were born with a colonialism. We don't know what means by a country. We just know what is a city, but treat it as a country level.
Some HongKongnese hate how wealthy chinese behave when they come to HK to shop. But think about the time when we were rich before and how we behave in mainland. Is there any different?
Communism is what people afraid of. Capitalism is what we have now. But if our government and policy are such stupid, risk-adverse, non-sense, no responsibility, messive under capitalism, i think communism is not a bad structure. At least China enjoys average 7% above in GDP over the past few yrs. Look at the economy we had after 1997.
Anyway...i think there are lots of people thinking what's going on on me...Am i "short"...i just express what i feel......i am not intended to focus on the politic issues.....so let just focus back on culture difference.....
When people ask me where i am from, I will say I am from China. I don't feel ashame as being a Chinese. A country with billion people, world manufacturing factory, rapid growth in economy, rising politic power in the world.....and hk?
(it's just the comment after a conversation with my fd, not to offend to anyone....all r my personal point of view.)
