The Road Not Taken 沒走的路

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, 兩條路在黃樹林裡分叉,

And sorry I could not travel both 但可惜我不能兩條都走

And be one traveler, long I stood 身為旅者,我佇立良久

And looked down one as far as I could 我看一條路盡可能看得遠

To where it bent in the undergrowth; 直到它轉進樹叢內;

Then took the other, as just as fair, 然後再看另一條,幾乎一樣,

And having perhaps the better claim, 但說不定更好,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear; 因綠草如茵邀人踩;

Though as for that the passing there 雖然在那路口

Had worn them really about the same, 踩過的痕跡幾乎一樣,

And both that morning equally lay 在那早晨同樣並列在

In leaves no step had trodden black. 未被踩過的葉子下.

Oh, I kept the first for another day! 喔,我保留第一條給改天走!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way, 雖知道一路走下去又接著路,

I doubted if I should ever come back. 我懷疑我是否該回頭.

I shall be telling this with a sigh 我將歎息著述說這事

Somewhere ages and ages hence: 在此很久很久後某時:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- 兩條路在樹林內分叉,而我--

I took the one less traveled by, 我選擇了較少人走的,

And that has made all the difference. 而這造成了所有的差別.
