Today was a great day. I have been in Chicago for three days and today was the most enjoyable one.
It was snowing outside. I wore a lot of clothes; it was the first time I wore that many clothes in winter. We went to art museum, The Art institute Of Chicago, in the morning. Be honest, I like and enjoy art because it’s impossible for me to do those incredible work. However, I don’t know how to appreciate it. This museum is large, including lower level, first level and second floor. A lot of art work from different period of time from different countries. I’m not going to write what were those art works because I don’t know. I just know every time when I finished one level, I had to sit down for a while. “Just enjoy it…” that’s what Minh told me=.=
Then we went to have lunch in a fast Chinese food restaurant. Hoho……how come they couldn’t recognize that I’m Chinese too???? I don’t look like? Wired…..never mind~
After that, two girls want to see a sculpture in the center. It was not that far away, so we walked there. It was so cold.
After that, some friends were tired and some want to go to other place. Then we separated. Minh decided to go to Sears Tower, which is the highest tower in the world. Wow!!! We waited for the purple line train for a long time, but it was worth. We got there, and find out the entrance of Sears Tower. The ticket is $10 per person, not bad. There was not many people luckily, we don’t have to wait in line. There was movie and introduction when we were on the elevator. I didn’t know it’s the highest tower in the world. I thought that is in Malaysia^^~
We got to the 103rd floor. So great! I could view all area of Chicago from it. The view was extremely beautiful and amazing. I visited the tower in Seattle last year, and some other towers few years ago. But I was so impressed by this one. At the moment, Chicago was so tiny. I do think it is the most important and exciting climax in my Chicago trip
Moreover, there was some introduction of history of Chicago.
Continue…..we took a bus to Water Tower, so tired but happy^^~ It was also a main plaza. We shopped again. I did buy something that I really like. Minh did too. We didn’t want to go anywhere else. Ok, went back home and………..Minh cooked for me…..Haha….how nice!!!
We decided to stay home tomorrow because we are exhausted and willing to do some homework. Besides, we are kind of annoying…
