Me and Minh wake up so early this morning. However, we wake up too early. All her friends were still sleeping ZZZzzzzzzz. I was so cold last night because Minh forgot to close the window=.=…..poor Marsha~ I was freezing.
After all friends, Hoa, Mearan, Chae Uhm, Phoenix, wake up, we went to Korean Town by train. I did some illegal behavior. Because they didn’t want me to buy train ticket, I sneaked in the gate. Hohoho…..sound fun. It cost $1.75 per trip. We can go anywhere in Chicago by trains and busses. It’s a big and busy city, I felt that’s what I saw in movies even though all cities are kind of similar.
Minh brought me and Chae Uham, who is a Korean girl, to her university, Illinois Institute Of Technology. It was a very beautiful and good university with advance facilities and modem buildings. Maybe because it’s a IT university, the technological network is so great. We had a quick tour in the university. She likes her university. I do too. This is the school she wants.
On the other hand, Chico State is one of the oldest in California State University. The academic buildings there are more old fashion. I like the creek flowing via the campus. It gives me fresh feeling everyday. Although my university is not a very famous one, also I came there because my destiny, I didn’t regret. Maybe it’s just because I don’t want myself to regret. However, I love my university more and more when day goes by.
Chicago is a busy and crowned city; Chico is a very small and quiet town. Me and Minh, two persons with different personalities from different counties, become friends and now living in different place. I can’t say I like her university more or my university more. I have no clue of think about it and I don’t want to do that neither. I just know what I have now, is what I am content with. At least, I did change my life somehow.
At the evening, we went to China Town to have Vietnamese food^^~ delicious! This China town is not very big, but it does have what it should have: restaurant, church, offices and different kind of stores. We shopped for a while, and went to “leaf tea coffee” to have a drink. It made me miss the life in Hong Kong.
Just been in Chicago for two days, kind of writing a dairy to remain myself what I did. But what I think most, is still under my consciousness.
