After the whole investigation, the court declared that Ms. Martha was released guiltless. She and her attorney who is also her boyfriend, Mr. Hamilton are going to have a press conference two hours later, explaining the whole case and how they won it. Here is Mr. Hamilton.
(在整個調查終結過後，法庭當庭宣布瑪莎小姐無罪釋放。她和她的男友律師，漢彌爾敦先生即將在兩小時候舉行記者說明會。會中，他將會解釋這整起事件的經過以及他們是如何贏得這場官司的。我們看到漢彌爾敦先生正步出法院..)
“Mr. Hamilton, congratulations to you and your girlfriend for winning this case. How you feel right now? You have anything you would like to say to the public?”
(記者：漢彌爾敦先生您好，首先我們要先恭喜你和你的女友贏得這場官司。可否跟我們談談你現在的心情如何？你有什麼話要對社會大眾說的嗎？)
Mr. Hamilton: Well, I wanna thank God for this victory of rightness. Martha is innocent and we all know this. Fortunately, the court has made a right decision. I believe no one would like to see a guiltless person spending times in jail for things she never did.
（漢彌爾敦：當然，首先我要感謝上天讓正義得以伸張。我們都知道瑪莎是無辜的。很慶幸法院當庭做了正確的判決。我相信沒有人會願意讓一個清白的人為了她沒做過的事去負責。）
PBT News:
“We all know that this time when the prosecutor listed out all the evidences, people were almost convinced that Ms. Martha did steal the painting. How you proved the painting found in her house wasn’t the one that Modern Museum lost?”
（記者：據我們所知當檢察官舉出所有物證時，社會大眾幾乎都認為瑪莎的確偷了那幅畫。你是如何證明在她住家發現的畫並非就是現代藝術館所遺失的那幅畫呢？）
Mr. Hamilton: This is simple. Actually we have stated the panting in Martha’s place wasn’t the one being stolen long time ago but the prosecutor wouldn’t believe it. He said that we couldn’t find any copy of this painting from the market. But in fact, the one in Martha’s place was exactly bought at the Sunday Market. That was just a copy which happened to be very similar to the real one. How could they prosecute her simply based on such shaky accuse? Therefore, I was trying so hard to find the dealer who sold the painting to her and fortunately I found him.
（漢彌爾敦：這很簡單，其實一開始我們就申明過瑪莎的清白，但是檢察官怎麼都不願意相信。他認為市面上沒有所謂的拷貝版，但事實上，瑪莎那幅畫真的是從假日畫市購買而來的複刻板，而非真品。真的很難相信檢方為只憑這麼不可靠的說法就起訴瑪莎。為了證明她的清白，我花了許多時間在尋找那位賣畫給她的畫販，而很幸運的我終於找到他來為我們作證。）

Modern Museum reported to the police that one of the most expensive paintings was gone. The police have sealed the whole museum for investigation and prosecutor Davis was in charge of this case. After gathering all evidences from the crime scene, the police has come out with several suspects and started the individual interview with each of them. Based on the testimony, the suspect was narrowed down to Ms. Martha Willows who was also an owner of a gallery.
（現代藝術館一幅館中最名貴的畫不翼而飛，而館方也馬上向警方報了案。當檢警人員到達現場後，隨即封鎖了整個藝術館。這整起案件由戴維斯檢察官負責偵辦。在蒐集了所有的物證之後，檢方已經列出相關嫌疑人的名單，也隨即展開約談行動。在整理過所有人的證詞之後，排除一些可能，整起事件的關鍵人物直指瑪莎‧偉羅斯，一間私人畫廊的老闆。）
When the police came to Martha’s apartment, they found the painting and arrested her immediately. The other day, she was bailed for 10 million and held a press conference to state her innocent. She declared the painting wasn’t stolen by her and she never visited Modern Museum since she moved to this city. How could she ever know there is such painting in this museum and it’s out of question that she would ever plan to steal it? She also made a statement that she has authorized this case to her attorney, Mr. Hamilton.
（當警方搜索瑪莎的公寓時，意外發現那幅失竊的畫並馬上逮捕了瑪莎並以百萬元交保候傳。交保後，瑪莎隨即舉行記者會說明自己的清白。她聲稱沒有偷那幅畫，甚至指出自己從搬到這城市後還未到過現代藝術館的說法。她實在沒理由計畫偷竊那幅畫。記者會尾聲，她更將這件官司委任給她的律師，漢彌爾敦先生去全權處理。）
10/10 （十月十號）
After Ms. Martha’s press conference, the police still believed she’s guilty. Prosecutor Davis visited the museum again and talked to the manager for more clues.
（在瑪莎的記者會之後，檢方仍不認為她沒有涉案。於是戴維斯檢察官二度拜訪藝術館經理以尋求更多的線索。）
Mr. Fernando, the manager of Modern Museum said during the past few weeks before the painting was stolen. The museum has received several donations from a lady who refused to identified herself. Every time when the money was deposited, they would also receive a mail with it. The content of the mail was ordinary, saying that she really likes this museum and hope they will keep making it better and better. Mr. Fernando thought this was just another usual donation from people who love art. He didn’t pay much attention to it till the day before the painting was stolen. He received a mail on that day again. The mail was warning him about the damage of the painting. He was shocked by the content and rushed to the Modern Art Gallery to check on the painting. Everything was usually. There was nothing wrong with the painting but he was still worried about what was saying in the mail. Therefore, he asked the security to pay more attention to this painting then he left the museum.
（藝術館經理佛南多先生說在畫失竊的幾個星期前，館方曾收到一位匿名的小姐多次的捐款，每次捐款入帳時，他就會收到一封信，寄信總是說她對藝術館的喜愛有多深，希望他們能把這個館經營得更好。佛南多先生認為這又只是一般熱愛藝術的民眾想藉由捐款表達對館方的支持，所以也就沒有多加注意了。直到畫失竊的前一天，他又收到一封信，信中警告他要多注意有人會破壞那幅畫。看到信的內容，他慌張的跑到畫前仔細的檢查，在確保畫仍完好如初並交代警衛要多注意可疑人物之後，他才放心的回家。）
The next day, the painting was gone!

After concluding the timeline of this event, prosecutor Davis asked Fernando for more clues. Was there anything unusual other than the mail? Mr. Fernando paused for a while, trying to remember anything. Then he said there was a young lady standing next to him when he was checking the painting. He didn’t pay much attention to her because he thought she was just a visitor. He remembered the girl was talking to her friend on phone which she shouldn’t do so in a museum. The conversation was about a gallery and some other things about art. He was trying to stop her from using mobile but didn’t because at that time, he was concerning more about the mail and the painting.
（在聽了佛南多先生的說法後，戴維斯檢察官仔細的將相關事件的時間點加以整理清楚。並希望佛南多先生能在試著回想，當時有沒有其他不尋常的事情發生。佛南多先生想了想後指出，當他在檢查那幅畫時，有一位小姐正站在他身邊用手機在跟朋友說話，當時他因為心急畫的事情所以並沒有制止她使用手機。不過他依稀記得，那位小姐好像是跟朋友在談一家畫廊與一些與藝術相關的話題。）
Prosecutor Davis put this event into his note and left the museum. Who was that girl? This could be a key evidence to solve this case. He knows that girl must have something to do with the painting.
（戴維斯檢察官將這個事件記錄下來後便離開了藝術館。究竟那站在畫旁的女孩是誰？這有可能是破案的關鍵，他深深相信這女孩一定跟這整起事件有關。）
Who stole the painting? Was Martha honest about every statement she made?
