That was a Sunday afternoon with a lazy mood; therefore, I decided to push back all the works and have a haircut in a nice saloon which was recommended by friends. It’s been over a year since the last time I visited a hair saloon back in Taiwan. This could be a personal record of mine for I would never let my hair growing long without trimming it regularly. Ha. Yet, people might change their habits to be adaptive though. I guess myself has undergone some changes since living aboard. Because prices here in New York are much higher than prices in Taiwan, having a haircut for female with long hair like me could cost more than forty bucks. >< In order to keep my budget, I spent much effort persuading myself not spending money on this kind of services. “It’s okay for me to live with hair without layers.” I thought I could keep myself living on budget with this reason but all my effort went in vain on that Sunday afternoon. I went to a saloon with reasons as “I cannot stand with my hair anymore. I need to trim it, get some layers, make it looks lighter.” “Since I cannot finish all the works today and I have been in bad mood for a long time, going to a saloon may be a good choice for me to have some kick backs.” Though out of budget, I was happy with my decision. Having your hair washed with head massage has always been the best part of the service, I really enjoy this way of relaxing myself. I did enjoy myself in that saloon though. Maybe I was just too strict to myself about the budget plan. After my hair was done, I walked out the saloon with a perfect hair and a great mood. I guess why not? Spending money once a while like this can get me a perfect mood for a whole day. Why do I have to be so mean on myself anyway? Cheer and enjoy moment like this.
