早上醒來，看見妹妹放在書桌上的file，一句印在上面的話映入眼簾 – “In preparation for the path ahead”。(請留意紙上手寫的英文字(是妹妹的功課)，很有意思，現在才留意到呢﹗)
「為前面的路預備」--預備甚麼呢﹖作為一個學生，前面是大大小小的校內、校外考試，要預備的自然是考試；作為一個已出來社會工作的人，前面是工作的前景、婚姻......要預備的是「增值」提升競爭力、儲錢結婚和買樓......作為神的子民，前面是甚麼呢﹖要預備的又是甚麼呢﹖
「有人聲喊著說：在曠野預備耶和華的路，在沙漠地修平我們神的道。」(賽40:3)
「我又看見聖城新耶路撒冷由神那裡從天而降，預備好了，就如新婦妝飾整齊，等候丈夫。」(啟21:2)
作為雅偉神的兒女，前面的路就是將來在天國與父神相遇。我們就是要用短暫的今生去預備父神的再來、也去預備將來永遠與父神在一起。
We are ready? 這不單是奧運的口號，也是我們要問自己的問題。隨手翻開雜誌，看見為奧運歌曲作曲填詞的音樂人所寫的一篇文章。他說偶爾找到一首久違了的詩歌，內容描述一些人在還沒有準備好的情況下，神便回來了 -- 當那一夜，兩個人在一個床上，要取去一個，撇下一個。兩個人在田裡，要取去一個，撇下一個(路17:34、36)。當父神突然回來之時，我們準備好了麼﹖
主日的講道很提醒自己 – 進入天國做甚麼呢﹖豈不是與神接觸嗎﹖記得在mission的時候，我曾與導師分享：有時候整天預備查經、看屬靈書籍、安靜與神親近時，會感到有點不知所措，甚至會覺得沉悶。導師說：「我們現在所做的，是預備將來永遠與神同在。若然現在也不喜歡與神在一起，將來去天國做甚麼呢﹖」父神讓我看到自己需要更深紮根在與祂的關係上，為永恆預備。
怎樣預備呢﹖主的話縈繞心頭 -- 「我是攻克己身，叫身服我，恐怕我傳福音給別人，自己反被棄絕了。」(林前9:27) 天國是努力進入的。自己的生命實在有很多軟弱，需要好好操練，才能與神在一起。
