A Special Friendship
Aijias is a cat. One day, he walked in the forest to search for food. Then he found a bird lying on the branch of the tree. Aijias dashed the tree and stared at the bird.
“I can catch the bird as my lunch.” Aijias thought.
Aihias skip over, grabbed the bird and laughed, “Ha! Get you. You will be my delicious lunch. But if you bow to me and call me Highness, I can let you go. I give you ten seconds to consider.”
Ten seconds ago, “Time is up.” said Aijias. “Which is your choice, bow to me or be my food?”
“Eat me.” Bird growled.
“What!”
“Eat me.” Bird said again.
“Wait, what you mean that you want to be my food?” asked Aijias.
“Yes!” repeated Bird.
“Why?” Aihias was surprised in his choice.
“My pride doesn’t allow bowing to you.” shouted Bird. “So please eat me.”
Aijias thought, “What a special courage he has! Maybe we can be friends.”
“OK. I decide that I don’t kill you. Then, can I do your friend?” Aijias said and asked.
This time, it was Bird’s turn to surprise. “Why don’t you gnaw me and want to be my friend?” asked Bird.
“Because I admire for your courage, I want to do your friend.” said Aijias.
“OK. My name is Ouyi. Nice to meet you.” exclaimed Ouyi.
Since that, Aijias and Ouyi became best friends. They spent every together romping and playing in the forest. They made their friendship stand out. One morning, Aijias suggested, “We can put up a house and live together.”
“Good idea! Live together. It feels like a family.” said Ouyi.
“Yes! So let’s set to work. First, I go to find some wood. You stay here and think about how to decorate out house.” said Aijias.
As Aijias trotted away, all of a sudden, Ouyi think that the winter approaches and he demands for flying to a warm place to spend the winter. Ouyi flopped down on the ground, dejected.
Thirty minutes ago, Aijias ran back and pulled many woods. “Hi! I come back.” Aijias panted. “What are you doing? Why do you lying on ground?”
Ouyi bounded off down the ground and said, “The winder is coming. I should go to a warm place.”
“Why can’t you stay here?” asked Aijias.
“If I stay here, I will die. So I must leave for here.” repeated Ouyi.
Aijias was sad. “Do you come back?”
Ouyi gives Aijias a bear hug. “Yes! I will come back in spring on next year.”
“I will miss you, my friend.” said Aijias.
“I will miss you, too.”
“Finally, remember, I stay here to wait for you back.” Aijias said. “Good bye, my friend. See you next year.”
“Bye-bye!” Ouyi leaved for the forest.
Aijias built a house on here and lived. He never leaves until Ouyi come back next year.
