Man paid for five years by company he didn’t work for

A man has admitted banking more than

£285,000 in pay over five years - from a

company he never worked for.
一名男子坦承，把過去5年逾28萬5000英鎊

Anthony Armatys accepted a job with Avaya Inc.,

a New Jersey-based telecommunications company

, in September 2002 - but then changed his mind.

That change of mind never quite filtered through

 to the company’s computer system, however,

which never removed his name from the payroll.

account until February 2007, when Avaya’s

auditors discovered the mistake. Over the
