Kathy led us go through chapter5 to chapter10 of Charlotte’s Web this morning at FUMC. Our conversation during the Book Club was interesting.

“Why Charlotte knows so much about Queensborough Bridge? She is just a spider who lives at the barn cellar, but the bridge is in New York City.” said Viola .

“Because of the‘web’.” replied Ewelina.

Everyone burst into laughter.

“Maybe that is the popular joke about stupid humans among spiders.” said Ewelina .

“Charlotte teaches the little pig a lot like his teacher; she comforts him like his mother. She even thinks about how to save him. How do you think?” said Kathy.

“She is really like his God!” said Viola.

“And she lives above him.” Said Ewelina.
